Kyna Brockett

Support Teacher

Kyna BrockettKyna Brockett started her work tenure at Victory in March 2012. Born in Iowa, she lived in Southern California, New Mexico, and North Carolina, before moving to Portland. She holds a BA in Psychology and Sociology and a MA in Counseling/Psychology. Kyna's professional goals include earning a doctorate in clinical psychology and learning more about the brain and how it's wired.

Kyna became involved in the field of education and Autism when she accepted an internship at Building Bridges (an ABA-based Portland Cinic) during her Master’s program.  Kyna is known about Victory for her love of canning fruits and vegetables, integrating art into academic tasks, and her kind demeanor.

As a Support Teacher in Willow for 2015-2016, she says that "she loves finding new ways to help kids learn and seeing the results."
