Originally from Southern California, Samantha (Sam) graduated with a BA in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Oregon in 2014. She has worked in varied ways with children over the years--teaching swim lessons to children with a variety of special needs, to working as a private language tutor in Madrid, Spain.
After settling in Portland in the summer of 2015, Sam found inspiration in working with children affected by Autism. She has experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician in both clinical and home-based settings. Sam loves coming to know each individual's unique personality and developing their different gifts and abilities to encourage and empower an "I can do that!" attitude.
Sam has enjoyed developing skills as an ABA interventionist and is excited to continue her journey at Victory. In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time outside, swimming, traveling, and listening to live music.
