Support Teacher

Sula Willson

Sula joined Victory in 2015. She grew up in rural north central Washington and moved to Portland in 2008 to attend Lewis and Clark College. There, she earned her degree in studio art with an emphasis in arts education; Sula pursued work as an art teacher in both therapeutic and recreational settings throughout her undergraduate studies.

Sula began working with children with Autism while teaching abroad and also worked in Portland in private practice as an in-home ABA Therapist for four years. At Victory, Sula loves collaborating with talented co-workers and specialists.  She loves assisting with art classes, supporting students on experiential education adventures, and working as a job coach. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing students discover their own unique talents as they gain confidence and independence.

Sula is currently in graduate school at George Washington University, where she is pursuing her Masters in Secondary Special Education and Transition Services.

Outside of work, Sula loves to be outside, hiking, swimming, and skiing. She spends her time with family and friends, drawing and painting, and going to live music.
