OREGON'S ONLY YEAR-ROUND SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM   ·   ESTABLISHED 2009

Tiffany Herndon

Support Teacher, Cedar Classroom

Tiffany recently relocated back to the Portland area after living six years in San Diego. During that time, she taught at Fusion Academy, a private alternative secondary school. Tiffany instructed classes in both English and history, as well as life skills and transitions, and she served as the Life Skills and Transitions department head for the 2014-2015 school year. After returning to the Portland area, Tiffany spent much of the 2015-2016 school year assisting at the Oregon City School District Transition House, where she worked with many students affected by Autism.

Tiffany graduated from University of Oregon in 2002, with a BA in English, and a minor in dance. She is passionate about her love of literature and has future plans of exploring adaptive and inclusive dance for students with learning differences. She will also begin pursuing a MA in special education from Portland State University in the summer of 2016.

When she is not teaching, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her two sons, as they skateboard and film videos for their YouTube channel.
